Neil
Director
Neil has been involved in the summer school industry for 18 years and has been the Director of BOSS since BOSS was born in 2011. In a nutshell, his role involves finding all of the wonderful students and staff who come to BOSS as well as directing the courses that he has spent a year preparing once they are up and running.
Neil has worked at academic summer camps in the UK and abroad for over 18 years but particularly loves working at BOSS. His favourite thing about his job is meeting all of the students who walk through the BOSS doors. He feels honoured to meet so many people from so many different countries and loves learning about the different cultures of students who come to BOSS.
Neil holds the Trinity DELTM (Diploma in English Language Teaching Management), Trinity CertTESOL and BA/Hons in Drama. His hobbies include playing football, playing guitar, travelling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, watching the best football team in the world, Liverpool Football Club (his favourite players are Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk) and listening to the greatest band of all time, The Beatles.
If you come to BOSS, you will meet Neil and see him all the time. Particularly during room inspections, assembly and on the football pitch!
Sue
Registrar and Finance Officer
Sue has been working at BOSS since 2012 when she came on-board and got everything organised! She is responsible for collecting all information about students and processing bookings from start to finish.
Like Neil, Sue loves working at BOSS and the favourite thing about her job is communicating with all of our partners and parents before eventually meeting the children in person. She also likes the company of our team of staff during spring and summer months.
Before working at BOSS, Sue worked in a bank which is why she is such a perfectionist when it comes to her job as Registrar and Finance Officer. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening and Pickle Ball.
If you come to BOSS you will meet Sue. She is always in the office keeping the BOSS engine ticking over.
