Your Weekly Update From BOSS - Thursday 7th May

You may have noticed that we haven’t been blogging every day as we have been doing for the last six weeks. We decided rather than writing small blogs every day, we’d just write one bigger one every week!

Did you know that as of next week, BOSS Online will become our longest ever course! Our summer schools are seven weeks long but we are now heading into week 8 of BOSS Online! We really can’t believe how fast the time is going. We feel like we just started yesterday when in actual fact we have now provided 102 hours of online English lessons and activities.

An update regarding this summer

We have received one or two emails asking whether or not we will be running our summer school this year. At this exact moment in time, yes, we are hoping to run our summer school and we will keep you up-to-date with information as and when we have it ourselves. We are attending weekly meetings with other schools, language school bodies and of course following the news on a daily basis for updates that may affect the summer school industry.

Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Accounts

Although we may no longer be writing a daily blog, we are still uploading information, news, photos, videos and interactive posts to our social media pages. To be kept in the loop, be sure to follow us using the below links and check in daily.

Live Assemblies

One of our traditions here at BOSS is our daily morning assembly which is attended by all students. We have been continuing this tradition at 10:00 (UK time) and live streaming our assembly through our Facebook and Instagram accounts so be sure to sign up and tune in to stay up to date with what is going on at BOSS and what online activities we have each day.

BOSS visits Russia

Like we said in our newsletter a couple of weeks ago, we would love to come and visit your school. Lingua Study in Russia took us up on the offer and off Summer School Director Neil went to spend a couple of hours chatting to and being interviewed by the staff and students. There was also a bit of a “British Quiz” thrown in at the end.

Neil is off to see our friends at the New Oxford School in Siena next week and would love to come and see you too so please invite us!

What have we been up to?

Our online English lessons and activities have been continuing strongly and positive feedback from our students and their parents continues to be positive! Thank you to everyone who has joined us in the last couple of weeks. You are certainly a great team!
